YOU MUST HAVE A FULL UK MANUAL DRIVING LICENSE TO APPLY FOR THIS ROLE

Location: Ty Cwm Gwendraeth, Llannon Road, Upper Tumble, Llanelli SA14 6BU

Hours: Full time - 37.5 hours per week, 8am - 4pm (Monday to Sunday, rota basis) working alternative weekends

Pay: £13.45 per hour

 

About the Service

Ty Cwm Gwendraeth is a 49 bed complex nursing home supporting adults male and female with mental health, huntington's disease, acquired brain injuries and dementia. The service provides a safe, structured and person-centred environment where individuals are supported to build independence, develop daily living skills, and achieve their personal goals.

People we support enjoy a range of activities within the service and in the community, including sports, pub visits, botanical gardens, fishing and bowling, helping them to stay engaged, active and connected.

 

About the Role

As an Activities Care Assistant, you’ll empower adults with learning disabilities, mental health, ABI, and dementia to live life their way.

You’ll:

  • Support independence and personal goals
  • Deliver high-quality, person-centred care
  • Plan and deliver meaningful activities and events
  • Provide personal care and support with health and wellbeing
  • Follow clear processes and individual care plans to ensure we provide safe and consistent support

Pay Structure

  • Entry Level – £13.45 per hour

You will have 6 months from starting the role to register for your Social Care Wales pin.
