Location: Horley, Essex, RH6 9DQ 

Hours: Full-time 40 hours per week (Monday to Sunday, rota basis) 

Pay: £13.71 per hour

 

About the Service

 

Springfield is a 6-bed supported living service supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, mental health and epilepsy. The service provides a safe, structured and person-centred environment where individuals are supported to build independence, develop daily living skills and achieve their personal goals.

 

People we support enjoy a range of activities within the service and in the community, including swimming, baking, cooking and shopping helping them to stay engaged, active and connected.

 

About the Role

As a Assistant Manager, you’ll play a key role in leading and coordinating a team to deliver safe, effective and high-quality care. You’ll support the manager and act as a role model, always ensuring best practice and a positive team culture.

 

You’ll:

  • Promote independence and help individuals achieve personal goals
  • Ensure high-quality, person-centred care is consistently delivered
  • Support with care planning, risk assessments and compliance
  • Provide personal care and support with health and wellbeing
  • Monitor quality, safety and regulatory standards

What We’re Looking For

 

Essential:

  • Understanding of learning disabilities, autism, ABI or mental health needs
  • Knowledge of person-centred care and safeguarding practices
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • A positive, resilient and proactive approach
  • Passion for delivering high-quality care and leading by example

 

Desirable:

  • NVQ Level 2 (or above) in Social Care
  • Experience with electronic care planning or rostering systems
  • Understanding of CQC and regulatory requirements
