Location: Pen Y Bont Court, Ewenny Road, Bridgend, CF35 5AW
Hours: Full time - 36 hours per week, 3 x 12 hour shifts. 8am - 9pm (Monday to Sunday, rota basis)
Pay Rate: £13.45 per hour
About the Service
Pen Y Bont Court is 43 bed complex nursing home supporting adults male and female with learning disabilities, Huntington's disease, acquired brain injuries and dementia. The service provides a safe, structured and person-centred environment where individuals are supported to build independence, develop daily living skills, and achieve their personal goals.
People we support enjoy a range of activities within the service and in the community, including swimming, beach days, live music and meals out, helping them to stay engaged, active and connected.
About the Role
As a Care Assistant, you’ll empower adults with learning disabilities, mental health, ABI, and dementia to live life their way.
You’ll:
- Support independence and personal goals
- Deliver high-quality, person-centred care
- Assist with daily life activities, for example cooking, shopping and social outings
- Provide personal care and support with health and wellbeing
- Follow clear processes and individual care plans to ensure we provide safe and consistent support

Pay Structure
- Entry Level – £13.45 per hour
You will have 6 months from starting the role to register for your Social Care Wales pin.
