Location: Tan Yr Allt Lodge, 14 Alltwen Hill, Pontardawe, SA8 3AB
Hours: Full time - 34.5 hours per week. 8am - 8.30pm, 8.30pm - 8.30am (Monday to Sunday, rota basis)
Pay Rate: £13.45 per hour
About the Service
Tan Yr Allt Lodge is a 26 bed complex nursing home supporting adults male and female with learning disabilities, mental health, acquired brain injuries and dementia.
The service provides a safe, structured and person-centred environment where individuals are supported to build independence, develop daily living skills, and achieve their personal goals.
People we support enjoy a range of activities within the service and in the community, including arts & crafts, cooking, swimming and singing choir, helping them to stay engaged, active and connected.
About the Role
As a Care Assistant, you’ll empower adults with learning disabilities, mental health, ABI, and dementia to live life their way.
You’ll:
- Support independence and personal goals
- Deliver high-quality, person-centred care
- Assist with daily life activities, for example cooking, shopping and social outings
- Provide personal care and support with health and wellbeing
- Follow clear processes and individual care plans to ensure we provide safe and consistent support

Pay Structure
- Entry Level – £13.45 per hour
You will have 6 months from starting the role to register for your Social Care Wales pin.
