Shifts: Full time, 37.5 hours

Salary: £13.75 per hour

**A UK manual driving license is essential for this role**

 

About the Service:

 

St Saviours is a 29-bed nursing home supporting male and female adults with learning disabilities, Huntington's disease, acquired brain injuries and dementia. The service provides a safe, structured and person-centred environment where individuals are supported to build independence, develop daily living skills, and achieve their personal goals.

 

People we support enjoy a range of activities within the service and in the community, baking, arts & crafts, darts in the garden and quizzes.

 

About the Role:

 

As a Carer Driver, you’ll support adults with mental health, challenging behaviour and brain injuries to live life their way.

 

You’ll:

  • Drive the people we support to activities and appointment in a car or minibus
  • Maintain the vehicles, ensuring they are safe and ready to go
  • Deliver high-quality, person-centred care
  • Follow clear processes and individual care plans to ensure we provide safe and consistent support

Pay Structure

  • Entry Level – £13.75 per hour

You will have 6 months from starting the role to register for your Social Care Wales pin.

Essential:

  • A full UK driving licence (manual)
  • Passion for supporting others
  • Willingness to learn and grow

 

Desirable:

  • Social Care qualifications
  • Previous care experience
  • Basic IT skills
