Job Title: Digital Learning Partner

Location: Remote (Occasional annual travel to Chesterfield)

Working Pattern: 37.5 hours per week - Remote working

Salary: £30,000 Per Annum

 

As a Digital Learning Partner, you will engage with the Learning Experience Manager to design, develop and create high quality learning for digital skills and systems. Your primary focus will be to support ivolve’s transformational digital strategy & digital skills agenda. The Digital Learning Partner will provide training support for ivolve’s digital transformation projects, ensuring that systems are fully integrated, adopted and maintained into the future.

 

The role will also ensure ivolve is enabled to meet the Digital Skills framework which defines seven key areas of effective digital working, organised in two ‘levels’: ‘digital skills for all staff’, and ‘go further’ with digital skills.​ The framework supports the government commitment in Next Steps to Put People at the Heart of Care to provide a ‘comprehensive digital learning offering’ for the adult social care sector.

 

The role will support the creation of and work closely with ‘Digital Champions’ across the organisation.  Digital Champions are approachable individuals who can share enthusiasm and knowledge of digital with colleagues and people who access care and support in an easy-to-understand way.

 

Main duties

  • Design, develop and deliver engaging, high quality learning materials conveying technical information in a way that’s easily understood by non-technical colleagues.
  • Provide digital skills support to regional hubs and homes via different methods of delivery e.g face-to-face sessions, individual coaching, remote video / online training and post training support.
  • Engage with digital transformation projects and act as the subject matter expert on various aspects of digital training and engage in both internal and external meetings to discuss ivolve’s digital requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, evaluate and monitor learner feedback and implement changes to training to maintain high quality learning offering and enhance the use of technology and digital skills.
  • Understand the specific needs and objectives of our services to deliver a digital learning plan within the organisation, identifying these and trends and feeding back to IT, where appropriate.
  • Provide guidance and training to business stakeholders on the effective use of digital skills and systems.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive learning materials and documentation for IT systems, updating and embedding new features where appropriate.
  • The role will involve travel across a designated division/ region with national travel as and when required. Overnights stays will also be required.

Required experience/skills:

  • Experience of delivering digital systems training from inception to implementation and business as usual, ideally within a healthcare setting

  • Experience in being involved in large scale digital projects across multiple sites

  • Demonstrable experience in delivering training

  • Excellent written & communication skills

  • Keen sense of customer satisfaction for internal stakeholders and wider workforce

  • Ability to work towards tight deadlines and KPIs

  • Ability to work well within a team

  • Able to work under own initiative

  • Keen eye for detail and design

  • Keep up to date with digital learning trends and project delivery methods

  • Skilled in computer applications including Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint, Outlook
