Shifts: Part time - 28.5 hours per week. 3 x shifts 8am-6pm (Monday to Sunday on a rota basis) 

Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour

Tan Yr Allt Lodge is 26 bed complex nursing home supporting adults male and female with learning disabilities, mental health, acquired brain injuries and dementia.

As a Kitchen Assistant, you’ll be a key part of our hospitality team and support the Head Chef with the daily aspects of the catering operation. You will assist with everything from preparing simple meals, to ensuring the dining areas are clean and tidy at all times .

This is a hands-on role where you’ll make a real difference to the lives of the people we support by helping deliver safe, nutritious, and enjoyable meals in a clean and welcoming environment.

The role:  

• Support the Head Chef with daily food prep and service

• Help prepare simple meals and snacks

• Keep kitchen and dining areas clean, safe and organised

• Follow food hygiene and safety standards

You’ll need:  

• At least 1 year kitchen experience 

• Basic Food Hygiene certificate or awareness

• A kind, reliable and positive attitude

• Ability to work well alone and as part of a team
