Location: Blackwood, NP12 1BR

Shifts: 33 hours per week nights  ( Monday to Sunday on a rota basis)

Payrate: £13.45 per hour

About the Service:

 

Cwmgelli Lodge is a 24-bed nursing home supporting male and female adults with mental health, Huntington's disease, acquired brain injuries and dementia. The service provides a safe, structured and person-centred environment where individuals are supported to build independence, develop daily living skills, and achieve their personal goals.

 

People we support enjoy a range of activities within the service and in the community, arts & crafts, shopping, animal visits and walking

 

About the Role

 

As an Care Assistant, you’ll empower adults with learning disabilities, Huntington's disease, acquired brain injuries and dementia to live life their way.

 

You’ll:

  • Support independence and personal goals
  • Deliver high-quality, person-centred care
  • Plan and deliver meaningful activities and events
  • Provide personal care and support with health and wellbeing
  • Follow clear processes and individual care plans to ensure we provide safe and consistent support

Pay Structure

  • Entry Level – £13.45 per hour

You will have 6 months from starting the role to register for your Social Care Wales pin.
