We’re looking for an Activities Care Assistant to join our 29-bed nursing home, supporting adults with Learning Disabilities, Dementia, Neurological conditions, Huntington’s Disease and Acquired Brain Injury.

You’ll be planning and running meaningful activities — from cinema trips and shopping days to arts & crafts, pet therapy and special events — all designed to support wellbeing and independence. No two days are the same, but every day you’ll make a real difference.

People we support enjoy a range of activities within the service and in the community, baking, arts & crafts, darts in the garden and quizzes.

About the Role

As an Activities Care Assistant, you’ll empower adults with Learning Disabilities, Dementia, Neurological conditions, Huntington’s Disease and Acquired Brain Injury to live life their way.

You’ll:

• Support independence and personal goals
• Deliver high-quality, person-centred care
• Plan and deliver meaningful activities and events
• Provide personal care and support with health and wellbeing
• Follow clear processes and individual care plans to ensure we provide safe and consistent support
