Salary: £31,616.00 per annum

Hours: 38 hours per week

Location: covering our services across Bridgend, Cardiff, Swansea, Carmarthen (milage will be paid from your base)

Travelling between our homes in Swansea, Bridgend and Carmarthen, where we provide nursing care for adults over the age of 18. We offer modern, homely, and well-equipped environments in a place called home for people with mental health needs, complex neurological needs, acquired brain injuries, and dementia.

As our Roaming Chef, you will play a vital role in the heart of the home- the kitchen.

You’ll prepare fresh, nutritious, home-cooked meals tailored to individual needs and preferences, consulting with colleagues to plan varied menus that meet dietary requirements, including guidance from SALT and other professionals.

This role offers:

*       10- hour shifts between 8am and 6pm

*       4 days per week (38 hours per week)

*       Alternative weekends working

*       Autonomy to suggest and lead themed food events and special celebration days

*       The opportunity to create and manage an annual events calendar

What You Will Do

*       Create and serve delicious, home-style meals designed around individual tastes and wellbeing needs

*       Lead and support kitchen colleagues to maintain high standards

*       Ensure all food hygiene, Health & Safety and relevant regulations are met

About You

You are:

*       Passionate about fresh food and high-quality meals

*       Creative and enjoy bringing new ideas to life

*       Organised and able to work independently

*       Committed to training and development

You have:

*       At least 2 years experience as a Chef

*       Knowledge of dietary requirements in care environments

*       Full UK Driving Licence
