Shifts: Full time 38 hours  (Monday to Sunday on a rota basis) 8am-6pm

Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour

Cwmgelli Lodge is a 24-bed nursing home supporting male and female adults with mental health, Huntington's disease, acquired brain injuries and dementia.

As a Roaming Kitchen Assistant, you’ll be a key part of our hospitality team, travelling across our east services to support our Head Chefs with daily kitchen duties. This is a hands-on role where you’ll make a real difference to the lives of the people we support by helping deliver safe, nutritious, and enjoyable meals in a clean and welcoming environment.

The role:  

• Support the Head Chef with daily food prep and service

• Help prepare simple meals and snacks

• Keep kitchen and dining areas clean, safe and organised

• Follow food hygiene and safety standards

You’ll need:  

• At least 6 months’ kitchen experience

• Basic Food Hygiene certificate or awareness

• A kind, reliable and positive attitude

• Ability to work well alone and as part of a team
