Location: Ellesmere Port, Cheshire CH66 4QR
Hours: Full-time - 42 hours per week (Monday to Sunday, rota basis)
Pay: £13.75 - £14.01 per hour (depending on qualifications)
About the Service
Oakmere Cottage is a 6-bed support living service supporting adults with epilepsy, prada-willi syndrome, cerebral palsy and diabetes. The service provides a safe, structured and person-centred environment where individuals are supported to build independence, develop daily living skills, and achieve their personal goals.
People we support enjoy a range of activities within the service and in the community, including going shopping, playing pool, going for pub outings and walking, helping them to stay engaged, active and connected.
About the Role
As a Support Worker, you’ll provide high-quality care for individuals with complex needs, which may include physical disabilities, neurological conditions, ABI, or high-level behavioural support needs.
You’ll:
- Deliver specialist, person-centred care tailored to complex needs
- Support with clinical and physical care requirements
- Assist with mobility, moving and handling, and personal care
- Follow detailed care plans and risk assessments
- Promote safety, dignity, and wellbeing at all times
- Work closely with healthcare professionals and wider teams

Pay Structure
* Entry Level – £13.75 per hour
* NVQ Level 2 completed – £14.01 per hour
* NVQ Level 3 completed – £14.01 per hour
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
- A patient, resilient and compassionate approach
- Confidence working with individuals with high-level needs
- Strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail
- Willingness to learn specialist skills and training
Desirable:
- NVQ Level 2 (or above) in Social Care
- Experience in complex care or high-dependency settings
- Basic IT skills
