Job description

Location: Blamsters Farm, Halstead, CO9 1LR

Hours: Full-time 42 hours per week (Monday to Sunday, rota basis)

Pay: £12.71 – £13.21 per hour (depending on qualifications)

 

About the Service

The Mews SL is a 6-bed supported Living service supporting adults with autism, learning disabilities, mental health and physical needs . The service provides a safe, structured and person-centred environment where individuals are supported to build independence, develop daily living skills, and achieve their personal goals.

 

People we support enjoy a range of activities within the service and in the community, including going to the cinema, day centres and visiting new places.

 

About the Role

 

As a Support Worker, you’ll empower adults with learning disabilities, autism, learning disabilities, mental health and physical needs to live life their way.

 

You’ll:

  • Support independence and personal goals
  • Deliver high-quality, person-centred care
  • Assist with daily life activities, for example cooking, shopping and social outings
  • Provide personal care and support with health and wellbeing
  • Follow clear processes and individual care plans to ensure we provide safe and consistent support

Pay Structure

  • Entry Level – £12.71 per hour
  • NVQ Level 2 completed – £12.96 per hour
  • NVQ Level 3 completed – £13.21 per hour

Desirable:

  • NVQ Level 2 (or above) in Social Care
  • Previous care experience
  • Basic IT skills
