Location: Leicester, Leicestershire, LE9 2HG

Hours: Full-time – 42 hours per week (Monday to Sunday, rota basis)

Pay: £13.71 per hour

 

About the Service 

Kirby Muxloe is a 7-bed residential service supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, vision loss and complex needs. The service provides a safe, structured and person-centred environment where individuals are supported to build independence, develop daily living skills, and achieve their personal goals.

 

People we support enjoy a range of activities within the service and in the community, including walking, shopping and community outings, helping them to stay engaged, active and connected.

 

About the Role 

As a Team Leader, you’ll play a key role in leading and coordinating a team to deliver safe, effective and high-quality care. You’ll support the manager and act as a role model, always ensuring best practice and a positive team culture.

 

You’ll:

  • Promote independence and help individuals achieve personal goals

  • Ensure high-quality, person-centred care is consistently delivered

  • Support with care planning, risk assessments and compliance

  • Provide personal care and support with health and wellbeing

  • Monitor quality, safety and regulatory standards

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

  • Understanding of learning disabilities, autism, ABI or mental health needs

  • Knowledge of person-centred care and safeguarding practices

  • Strong organisational and communication skills

  • A positive, resilient and proactive approach

  • Passion for delivering high-quality care and leading by example

Desirable:

  • NVQ Level 2 (or above) in Social Care

  • Experience with electronic care planning or rostering systems

  • Understanding of CQC and regulatory requirements
