Role Overview

 

As an Apprentice People Coordinator, you will support the People Team in delivering high-quality, timely, and accurate people services to our colleagues. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in HR while developing your skills and knowledge in a supportive and inclusive environment.

You will assist with maintaining colleague records, preparing documentation, and supporting onboarding processes. You’ll also help ensure our systems and communications are professional, consistent, and aligned with our values.

Alongside your role, you’ll be studying towards your CIPD Level 3 qualification, with 20% of your time dedicated to learning and development. It’s a great opportunity to build your HR skills in an inclusive and values-led environment.

 

The Main Skills and Experience for This Role

 

Essential

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A proactive and helpful attitude.
  • Basic understanding of confidentiality and data protection.
  • Willingness to learn and grow within the role.
  • Commitment to study  CIPD Level 3 qualification.

Desirable

  • Previous experience in an administrative or customer service role.
  • Interest in HR or people-related work.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Person-led Care

  • Support the People Team in delivering high-quality, timely, and accurate services.
  • Assist with maintaining colleague records and updating people systems.
  • Help prepare letters, contracts, and other documentation.
  • Respond to colleague queries or signpost to the appropriate person or resource.
  • Support onboarding processes, ensuring new starters receive welcome materials and training plans.
