Our Values

Our values reflect us all and they’re at the heart of the way we do things. Our colleagues are passionate, kind, and resilient, and they go the extra mile for the people we support and each other. If living our values every day is you, and you are an experienced HR practitioner with strong case management experience, willing to get stuck in and drive our standards to make a difference, then you should join our team.

Role Overview

An amazing opportunity to join the People Service Team at ivolve! This is a newly created role that presents the opportunity to really make a difference; to shape and mould the way we approach our internal ER activity. You’ll be supported by an ER Governance Manager who has a strong background in employment law knowledge. You’ll be confident operating autonomously within a great internal support network. You will have a high level of employment law knowledge and significant & demonstrable experience of its practical application in complex case management. ER management and employment law will be your niche, your specialism; and you’ll be passionate about delivering consistent and compliant ER outcomes. With this being a newly created role, you’ll need to remain fluid and open-minded to change as we develop the remit to support the needs of the business and ultimately, everything we do will drive a positive impact for the people we support.

Your Responsibilities

  • Take the lead on Employee Relations case matters aligned to our operating regions. You’ll be the subject matter expert (SME) for the end-to-end people ownership of all non-transactional Employee Relations case activities (e.g., conduct, performance, grievance, sickness, and multifaceted cases).
  • Coach and support managers to deliver against standards across a broad spectrum of People Employee Relations matters.
  • Ensure activity outcomes are consistent and in line with our standard and assurance processes.
  • Lead and support lessons learned activities.
  • Be accountable for all case-related administration, including all standard issue letters.
  • Prepare, analyse, and report metrics, identifying trends and improvements.
  • Support the ER Governance Manager to deliver across a broad range of activities including HR projects, policy management, and supporting bespoke training.

The Main Skills and Experience for This Role

Essential

  • CIPD qualified to or studying for level 5 (or equivalent skills).
  • Ability to establish credibility and drive excellence with persuasive communication skills.
  • Good judgement, decision-making, and conflict management.
  • Honesty, reliability, trustworthiness, and a passion to make a difference.
  • Demonstrable complex case management experience.
  • Curious; you’ll ask questions and dig deep to form an understanding even when this could be uncomfortable or in the face of adversity.
  • Not afraid to challenge in a constructive way when needed.
  • Organised, structured, and able to manage your time effectively; ability to juggle multiple and conflicting priorities.
  • Process-driven, practical, and level-headed.
  • Supportive and educational nature, to develop internal awareness and capability of ER policy, process, and approach.
  • Ability to quickly and positively establish yourself with your key stakeholders; the true art of forming effective working relationships and encouraging collaborative working.
