Vacancy Location: Maldon, Colchester  CO3 3AX

Shifts: 7-hour day shifts, early and late. 10 hour waking night shift.

Pay Rate:  £11.44 - £11.70 per hour (dependant on qualifications)

This role is for our new Mental Health Service for complex needs. The service is currently undergoing a full refurbishment and will be a brand-new provision in the Essex area.

 

The service will support adults with complex mental health conditions in a residential service with multidisciplinary team input and support.

Role Responsibilities

  • You’ll support adults with complex mental health conditions.
  • You’ll support and respond to mental health needs promoting recovery.
  • You’ll safeguard those we support and help to prevent relapse.
  • You’ll give high-quality support tailored to people’s needs
  • There is of course practical support too and helping people to reach their goals in smaller ways. You’ll manage medication, shopping, health needs and hygiene as well as keep things tidy and safe.
  • And of course, you’ll follow our procedures, so we give consistent, safe, and reliable care and support.

The Main Skills and Experience for This Role

 

Essential

  • Good general education
  • Honesty, reliability, trustworthiness, and a passion to make a difference.
  • Commitment to the aims and objectives of the home and of Ivolve
  • Satisfactory Police Check and check against the ISA List (where applicable)
  • A commitment to undertake training and development.

Desirable

  • RQF Level 2 or above in social care
  • Previous experience within Mental Health setting
  • Knowledge and commitment regarding Equal Opportunities
  • Knowledge of the regulatory frameworks
  • Confident IT user
