Lead a team. Change lives. Grow your career.
We’re ivolve – one of the UK’s largest and fastest-growing providers of adult social care. We’re currently looking for a passionate and experienced Registered Manager to lead our well-established residential service in Blackburn.
This 13-bed specialist service supports older adults with learning disabilities, autism, and associated complex needs, many of whom also have dual diagnoses. You’ll be leading a dedicated team of over 40 colleagues delivering 24-hour support in a warm, person-centred environment.
Our service features spacious communal areas, ensuite facilities, a large garden, and onsite resources that promote independence and wellbeing. People we support enjoy a wide range of activities including bowling, football matches, sensory room visits, and community-based learning and volunteering. The home is in a quiet residential area with excellent access to Blackburn town centre, parks, and public transport.
About the role
As Registered Manager, you’ll take overall responsibility for the day-to-day running of the service, with a clear focus on quality, safety, and positive outcomes. You’ll work closely with families, health professionals, and local authorities, while empowering your team to deliver person-centred support every day.
You’ll report to the Area Manager and ensure the service continues to meet CQC standards, support personal and professional development within the team, and maintain strong financial and operational performance.
What you’ll need
Significant experience in a leadership role within adult social care
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (or willingness to work towards it)
Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and person-centred practice
Experience supporting people with learning disabilities and complex needs
Ability to lead, inspire, and develop large, multidisciplinary teams
A values-led approach and commitment to continuous improvement
What we offer
25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
Your birthday off (paid) after one year of service
Enhanced sick pay
Progression and leadership development pathways
Wellbeing, recognition and financial support programmes
A culture that celebrates inclusion, compassion, and high-quality care
We are proud to have been named one of The Sunday Times Best Places to Work 2024. If you’re looking for a leadership role where your impact will be felt every day – and where your professional development is genuinely supported – we’d love to hear from you.
