Deputy Clinical Manager

Location: Blackwood,  NP12 1BR

Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum (dependent on experience and qualifications)

Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Sunday on a rota basis)

 Cwmgelli Lodge provides nursing care for 24 adults over the age of 18. The home is on two floors (Daffodil and Rose) and has been purposely designed to provide a bright, positive and vibrant environment to meet the needs of younger people. There is spacious accommodation that hosts a range of assistive technology and facilities to enable independent living.

 

About the Role As Deputy Manager, you’ll work closely with the Home Manager to:

  • Lead and motivate a passionate care team

  • Uphold CIW and RISCA regulations

  • Ensure the delivery of safe, effective, and compassionate care

  • Promote a positive culture where both staff and residents thrive

  • Support in managing resources, compliance, and clinical excellence

What We're Looking For

  • You must be a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid and active NMC pin

  • Proven leadership experience in a care setting

  • Experience supporting adults with complex needs

  • Strong knowledge of CIW and RISCA regulations

  • A values-driven approach to care and team development

  • Passion for person-centred care and quality improvement
