Deputy Clinical Manager 

Location: Cardiff

Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Sunday on a rota basis)

Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum (depending on experience)

We’re opening Ty Heulog, a brand-new purpose built 32-bed nursing home, and we/’re looking for a passionate Deputy Clinical Manager (Registered Nurse) to help set up the service, build the team, and shape an outstanding nursing home for the local community.

This is a rare opportunity to welcome the first people we support, embed best-practice, and develop an amazing nursing service in a brand-new environment.

 

About the role

 

Working alongside the Home Manager, you will:

*       Support the set up and development of a new nursing service

*       Lead, motivate and develop the clinical team

*       Deliver safe, effective, person-centred care

*       Ensure compliance with CIW and RISCA regulations

*       Promote a positive, values-led culture

You’ll support adults with complex needs including mental health, dementia, ABI, and neurological conditions, in a beautiful purpose-built home with welcoming social spaces, calm areas for reflection and outdoor sensory gardens.

 

About you

*       Registered Nurse with an active NMC pin

*       Leadership experience within a nursing or care setting

*       Experience supporting adults with complex needs

*       Strong knowledge of CIW and RISCA

*       Passionate for high-quality, person-centred care
