Job Title: Finance Administrator

Location: Chesterfield, Derbyshire (Hybrid)

Salary: Circa £28'000 per annum

Role Overview

Reporting to the Group Finance Manager – Commercial & Fees, you will provide vital administrative support to the Fee Team. This includes maintaining accurate customer records, liaising with funding authorities, and ensuring timely follow-up on outstanding actions. You will play a key role in supporting the annual uplift process and legacy fee reviews, while helping to build strong internal and external relationships.

 

Your Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the annual uplift process and legacy fees reviews.
  • Monitor the Fee Team mailbox and action items according to Group processes.
  • Retain accurate records of actions taken and highlight required follow-ups.
  • Maintain and regularly review the customer database to ensure accuracy.
  • Contact funding authorities to gather information and support relationship building.
  • Escalate issues and challenges through the appropriate internal processes.
  • Follow up on internal and external actions in a structured and timely manner.
  • Liaise with Support Functions and Operations to support query resolution.
  • Manage diaries and schedule meetings both internally and externally.
  • Oversee internal record keeping, filing paperwork, documents, and digital information.
  • Support data cleansing and collation activities.

  • Good numerical skills and experience using Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to manage relationships both externally and internally.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with both finance and non-finance teams.
