Location: Home based with travel around the South East (Essex, Greater London & East Surrey)

Salary: £38,000 Per Annum

Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week

About the Role

 

Reporting to the Group Learning and Development Manager, you will work closely with the business to ensure key learning priorities are met. You will provide high‑quality, professional L&D advice and support, helping develop colleagues across the organisation and ensuring our trainer teams have the skills and confidence to deliver exceptional learning experiences. This role combines strategic planning, operational delivery, people leadership and continuous improvement, all with a strong focus on person‑centred learning.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Planning and Delivery

  • Identify learning needs within your region and agree training plans with key stakeholders.

  • Work with the Learning Admin Team to scope, plan and communicate training schedules.

  • Deliver engaging, person‑centred training in classroom or virtual settings when required.

  • Provide content and insight to the Learning Design Team to support blended learning solutions.

  • Use learning data and management information to prepare reports and support decision‑making.

  • Ensure trainer teams understand priorities and deliver an effective, high‑quality service.

Quality and Standards

  • Follow organisational policies, guidelines and strategies to ensure high training standards.

  • Stay up to date with learning trends, best practice and emerging thinking.

  • Promote diversity and inclusion within training delivery.

  • Drive continuous improvement, challenging existing practice and seeking better outcomes.

  • Support the implementation and monitoring of learning quality assurance standards.

Team Leadership

  • Line manage and supervise a regional team of trainers.

  • Address performance, capability and development needs within the team.

  • Participate in regular meetings and support the Group L&D Manager with wider business needs.

  • Work collaboratively with expert functions including Business Development, Quality and People.

Professional Conduct and Communication

  • Communicate clearly, respectfully and professionally with colleagues and stakeholders.

  • Build strong external relationships to support high‑quality, person‑led training.

  • Act as a brand ambassador for ivolve, reporting concerns transparently and appropriately.

Skills and Experience

 Essential

  • Accredited training qualification (e.g. Level 3 Award in Education and Training or equivalent).

  • Management qualification or willingness to work towards one.

  • Experience leading and motivating hybrid teams across large geographical areas.

  • Ability to champion remote learning and technology‑enabled delivery.

  • Strong digital and systems skills.

  • Analytical ability to interpret learning data.

  • Strong commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion.

  • Excellent communication, presentation and facilitation skills.

  • Ability to influence, negotiate and build credibility across the organisation.

  • Honest, reliable and passionate about making a difference.

Desirable

  • Experience managing budgets and financial forecasting.

  • Ability to travel between locations as required.

  • Up‑to‑date train‑the‑trainer certificates (or willingness to work towards them), such as manual handling, basic life support or epilepsy/buccal.
