Shifts: Full time 38 hours (x4 shifts per week) and part time 28.5 hours(x3 shifts per week)  (Monday to Sunday on a rota basis) 8am-6pm 

Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour

We’re opening Ty Heulog in Summer 2026, a brand-new 32 bed nursing home in Cardiff and we’re looking for a reliable, caring Kitchen Assistant to support our Head Chef and help make mealtimes enjoyable from day one.

The role: 

• Support the Head Chef with daily food prep and service 

• Help prepare simple meals and snacks 

• Keep kitchen and dining areas clean, safe and organised 

• Follow food hygiene and safety standards 

You’ll need: 

• At least 6 months’ kitchen experience 

• Basic Food Hygiene certificate or awareness 

•  A kind, reliable and positive attitude 

• Ability to work well alone and as part of a team
