Location: Ystradgynlais, SA9 1LQ
Shifts: Part time 24 hour contract (Mon - Sun rota including weekends and occasional night shift)
Pay Rate: £12.60 - £12.90 per hour
Sponsorship: This service does not provide support for visa sponsorship
Social Care Wales: You will have six months from starting the position to register for your SCW pin

We are looking for passionate Care Assistants to join our friendly team at our 16 bed nursing home in Ystradgynlais, specialising in mental health, brain injury and behaviours that can be challenging. It’s secure, rewarding work with full training provided.
Role Overview:
You’ll support adults with lots of different needs such as mental health, brain injury and behaviours that can be challenging
You’ll support them to flourish in a place they call home. You’ll empower the people we support to be ambitious and live fulfilled lives
You’ll give high-quality support tailored to people’s needs
You’ll do activities like cooking, art or listening to music. And get out for movie nights and food outings
You’ll provide personal care including support with continence needs; health and medication needs; handling personal possessions; finances and documents; shopping. Help them to have good levels of personal and environmental hygiene
You’ll follow our procedures, so we give consistent, safe, and reliable care and support
