Your new role at Ivolve is calling you!

We are looking for a confident, compassionate Unit Lead to join our 16-bed nursing home in Ystradgynlais. Specialising in mental health, brain injury and behaviours that can be challenging.

What you’ll do:

You’ll lead and support a team caring for adults with complex needs, including dementia, Huntington’s disease, complex neurological needs, acquired brain injuries and mental health needs. You’ll make sure people feel safe, respected and truly at home — empowering them to make choices, build life skills and live fulfilling lives.

You’ll provide hands-on support when needed, oversee care plans, manage day-to-day operations in the manager’s absence, and keep standards high through great leadership, planning and teamwork. Most importantly, you’ll champion person-led care and co-production with the people we support.

Skills & Experience Needed:

  • NMC registration as an adult, mental health or learning disability nurse and experience as a nurse in a care home setting.
  • Evidence of post registration qualifications and CPD.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Approachable, respectful, confidential and transparent.
  • Adaptable, solutions-focused, and committed to high-quality care.
  • Confident using electronic care planning, medication and compliance systems.

Why ivolve?

  • Access to our exclusive ivolve extra discounts platform
  • Your birthday off following a qualifying period
  • Weekly lotto draws winning cash prizes
  • Scratch card prizes for reward and recognition
  • Flexible working patterns and options
  • Development opportunities through our internally run academies
  • External development opportunities
  • Yearly colleague awards and recognition events
  • Professional NMC PIN paid
  • Salary advance scheme (after a qualifying period)

If you’re passionate about leading people, supporting independence and creating a positive, fun place to work and live — we’d love to hear from you.
